We were the first in Pennsylvania to have multiple communities licensed as Assisted Living, and we continue to be the only licensed Assisted Living residence in the areas we serve. Columbia Cottage is owned by Lancaster-based Horst Group, Inc. and operated by Horst Management Services, a senior living community operations and management firm.
Horst Management Services has more than 20 years of experience in developing, managing, and operating senior living communities with specific expertise in assisted living. With this level of experience, Columbia Cottage benefits from smooth operations, quick resolution to any building or maintenance issues, and expert organizational oversight.
Horst Group, the parent company, is a fifth-generation family-owned business. They have been building strong client relationships for over 120 years, becoming synonymous with integrity, quality, and collaboration.
