In Honor of all the brave men and women who have and continue to serve in the United States Military, Columbia Cottage Wyomissing was pleased to sponsor a flag at the Berks County Field of Honor. The flags were displayed at the Wyomissing Stone House from July 4th-July 8th. [envira-gallery id=”5253″]

For our “All Things Italian” themed day, the residents enjoyed Andrea Bocelli music, an Italian wine themed art class, and a delicious Italian Delights Luncheon: Fresh Caprese Salad, Handmade Fresh Pappardelle w/ Classic Bolognese, Homemade Rosemary Focaccia, and Chef’s Special Tiramisu with wine service available during the luncheon.

Observing National Donut (Doughnut) Day may become a yearly tradition. We enjoyed freshly baked donuts and took a donut personality test. Many of the residents chose to eat a Glazed Cake Donut which is described as “A plain cake with a little extra, this doughnut appeals to the traditionalist with an edge.” [envira-gallery id=”5231″]
